The Campus Card System of Hohai University is a comprehensive information integration system, and aims to provide convenient and fast electronic services for the study, research and living of students, so as to achieve a campus life with only one card in hand.
III. Functions of campus card
The campus card is the information carrier of the Campus Card System of Hohai University (contactless radio frequency IC card), which carries the cardholder's personal information, account information, etc. The basic functions of the system include: identity recognition, identity authentication, campus consumption, billing management, computer room management, intelligent water control management, financial settlement, charge management, fund distribution, library management, medical treatment, information inquiry, etc. Its scope of use includes on-campus consumption system, bank deposit and transfer system (including online banking), book borrowing and returning system of the library, payment for printing and copying, urban hotspot network billing, textbook charging, cultural and sports venue charging, water boiler, bathroom, computer system, intelligent electronic control self-service payment, student dormitory barrier-free access, access control and other functions.
IV. Limit and password of campus card
Cardholders do not need to enter the password when spending within the consumption limit. In order to avoid losses to cardholders after the card is lost, the university has equipped the campus card with the following safety protection measures.
1. Initial password: Informed by the International Education College.
2. Password modification: International students can modify it on the transfer machine or at the Campus Card Management Center on the campus with the ID card.
3. Consumption limit: The system divides the day into four time periods (1:00-10:00 for the morning meal, 10:00-14:00 for the noon meal, 14:00-20:00 for the evening meal, and 20:00-24:00 for the midnight meal as the benchmark) with a consumption limit set. The cumulative consumption limit in each period is CNY 50 by default. If the cumulative consumption of the cardholder in a certain consumption period exceeds the limit which requires the input of password, the user needs to enter the password. The cardholder should keep the card properly and take full responsibility for the loss caused by the lost card.
V. Process of applying for a campus card
After the new students are enrolled, the International Education College will handle and issue campus cards in a centralized manner. If you lose the campus card, you need to report the loss as soon as possible.
VI. Report the loss of campus card
(I) Ways to report loss
1. Report the loss on campus network. Please log in to the campus card management website, enter the 6-digit query password of the campus card, and report the loss according to the instructions on the website.
2. Report the loss on the transfer machine. Self-service machines are available 24 hours a day. When reporting the loss, students need to enter the student number / faculty members need to enter the 8-digit job number / outsiders need to enter the card number and campus card query password. Please remember the student number / job number / card number and query password.
3. Report the loss at the campus card center with the ID card.
(II) Matters needing attention when reporting the loss
If the lost campus card is found again, the cardholder can go to the campus card center with a valid ID card to cancel the report (unlock the card) or do it by himself / herself on the campus network or transfer machine. For the safety of the cardholder's funds, the old card will be invalid after the new card is reissued. Even if it is found again, the old card cannot be unlocked or used again.
(III) Loss reporting fee
There will be a cost of CNY 20 for reporting the loss
VII. Campus card recharge
(I) How to recharge campus card
1. How to use the transfer machine for recharge (self-service recharge): Insert the campus card into the card slot of the transfer machine, and enter the amount and password as prompted, then the corresponding amount of money will be transferred from the personal bank card to the campus card.
2. How to use the transfer machine for recharge (online recharge): Enter the online banking service of Bank of China, find the campus card recharge function in the people's livelihood service, and enter the amount for recharge. After the recharge is successful, the user needs to receive the subsidy on the transfer machine or by swiping the card on the POS machine at the restaurant, before the amount is written onto the campus card.
(II) Introduction to and use of the transfer machine
All campuses are equipped with transfer machines. The main functions are: online payment, bank card-campus card transfer (China Construction Bank for Changzhou and Bank of China for Nanjing), campus card balance inquiry, campus card loss report, unlock, change of query password, modification of consumption password, modification of consumption limit, intelligent electronic control recharge, query, etc.
