About Hohai University
Hohai University, founded in 1915, is a state key university under the direct administration of the Ministry of Education of China, and is on the State Double First-Class and 211 Project. It is a comprehensive university with research and study of water resources as its main focus, education of engineering subjects as its first priority, and coordinated development of a wide array of disciplines, ranking among China's top universities in its teaching indexes and overall strength. For more than a hundred years, the University has developed and grown in the struggle process of governing water and rejuvenating the country. It is known as the cradle of cultivating high-level innovative and entrepreneurial talents in water conservancy and an important base for water conservancy scientific and technological innovation. About the Program
With the theme of Water Disaster Prevention and Mitigation under Climate Change, the two-week Program invites world-class scholars both in and outside China to lay out and analyze challenges posed by water disasters resulting from extreme climate variations as well as China's approach to tackle those challenges. International students who are selected to attend the Program will have the chance to gain a good understanding of the water resources industry in China, interact with students from China and other countries in lectures and field trips to spectacular hydraulic structures, participate in a variety of colorful extracurricular activities, and visit historical and cultural landmarks of the Nanjing City to develop a true knowledge and understanding of China.

June 28 to July 11, 2026, Nanjing and Nearby Cities
Qualified Applicants:
Non-Chinese citizens, at the age of 18 to 35;
Studying in a university as an undergraduate or a postgraduate;
With knowledge in related fields or showing interest in related fields.
Program fees:
Hohai University will cover the program fees, local lodging in Nanjing, and International Student Medical Insurance in China for the international students who are admitted to the Program. Top-notch students will be offered round-trip international airfare as well.
