Registration for the fourth activity of Chinese Traditional Culture Experience Month for international students is beginning! The theme of this event is Chinese chess.Chess seems to be a microcosm of human society, endowed with many social and cultural elements.Once the chess pieces move from the chessboard to life, they will have more contact with the outside world, and the meaning of playing chess and understanding chess theory is no longer confined to the chessboard.
The event will be also held in Jiangning and Changzhou campuses. Before signing up, please read the registration information carefully and don't go to the wrong campus.
Welcome to follow the members of the chess clubs to approach Chinese chess, to understand the big world from the small chessboard, and to get the essence of the unique Chinese philosophy of life contained in the chess culture.
1. Jiangning campus
Activity presentation: Zhuxiang Chess Club is committed to attracting all chess friends, carrying forward the spirit of chess and developing the culture of chess.Club activities often revolve around Chinese chess, Go, chess, Gobang and other chess games, including checkers, international checkers, flying chess and other chess games, and strive to integrate the chess culture into the campus.
In this Chinese Chess experience activity, the chess club will introduce Chinese chess culture and teach chess rules and tactics to international students. Comparing Chinese chess with international chess, linking the cultural differences between East and West, this activity will further demonstrate the charm of chess and promote the communication between China and foreign countries;On the basis of understanding chess, we will organize international students and club members to practice chess.

Activity presentation: Hanhai Chess Club is a student club composed of students who have great enthusiasm and knowledge for chess.The main activities include exchange of chess knowledge, chess competitions, daily technical exchanges, etc. Members can feel the happiness brought by chess in their spare time, which greatly enrich students' campus life.
