关于2022春季学期电子注册的通知
Notice on the Online Semester Registration of 2022 Spring Semester
留学生同学们：
Dear International Students:
2022年春季学期学校继续实行电子学期注册。
The University will continue to carry out online semester registration in 2022 spring semester
1. 电子学期注册流程。
由外国留学生本人登录学校信息门户办事大厅(http://myhall.hhu.edu.cn/)留学生电子学期注册平台，核对并填写基本信息，汇报当前学习状况，提交注册申请。本科生由学院本科教学秘书审核后提交国际教育学院办理；研究生由导师填写意见、研究生教学秘书审核后提交国际教育学院办理。注册结果将通过网上办事大厅留学生电子学期注册平台反馈给申请者。
1. Procedure of Online Registration
International students log into the Online Semester Registration platform of Hohai Information Portal (http://myhall.hhu.edu.cn/), check and fill in the basic information, report the current study status and submit registration application. For undergraduates, the teaching secretary of the college will review the application and submit it to the International School. For postgraduates, the application shall get approved by supervisors first, then the teaching secretary of the college will review and submit to the International School. Registration results will be fed back to applicants via the online platform.
2. 电子学期注册时间安排
（1）2月21日前，留学生提交注册申请；
（2）2月25日前，学院（含导师）审核申请；
（3）3月4日前，国际教育学院办理注册申请。
2. Time for Online Registration
(1) International students submit application before February 21, 2022.
(2) Colleges (including supervisors) review the application before February 25, 2022.
(3) International School deal with registration application before March 4, 2022.
3. 关于休学和复学的说明
（1）如因各种原因无法参与本学期学习和/或科研的学生，可在注册时选择“休学”，并注明休学原因（不少于20个字母）和休学期限（2022年春季学期）。
（2）处于休学状态的学生如需申请复学，可在注册时选择“在籍”，并填写复学申请表
（https://ie.hhu.edu.cn/2019/0120/c14699a220753/page.htm），发送至教务办邮箱（ie_academic@hhu.edu.cn）。复学申请办理结果，将通过邮箱反馈给申请者。
（3）休学期间的管理责任由学生本人及其家属负责。学校为其保留学籍，但不得参加课程学习和考核，不享受在校生待遇。留学生在校学习时间和休学时间（含其他保留学籍时间）累计不得超过最长学习年限。
3. Notes on Suspension and Resumption
(1) International students who are unable to participate in the study and/or scientific research of this semester due to certain reasons can choose “Suspension” in the registration platform, and mark clearly the reasons (no less than 20 letters) suspension duration (2022 spring semester ONLY).
(2) If students who are suspended but need to apply for resumption, please select registered while registration and fill in the resumption application form
(https://ie.hhu.edu.cn/2019/0120/c14699a220753/page.htm), send the filled form to Academic Office (ie_academic@hhu.edu.cn). The results of resumption application will be fed back to the applicant via email.
(3) During the suspension period, the university reserves the student status, but the student shall not be allowed to participate in course study and assessment. The cumulative study time and suspension time (including other reserved student status time) of international students shall not exceed the maximum study years.
4. 其他事项
（1）外国留学生须按时按要求提交学期注册申请，保证提交信息的真实性、准确性。
（2）提交注册申请后，请及时联系导师和学院审核申请。
（3）注册成功的学生即视为我校在籍学生。
（4）未注册成功或未按时注册的学生按照《河海大学外国留学生学籍管理办法》相关条款处理。
（5）如因各种原因无法于2022年7月按期毕业的学生，还需在办事大厅中完成学习期限延长申请。该操作使用手册见如下链接：http://ie.hhu.edu.cn/2020/0903/c7347a211293/page.htm

4. Other Issues
(1) International students shall submit semester registration application on time and as required and shall make sure of the authenticity and accuracy of the information submitted.
(2) International students shall contact their supervisors and colleges to review application right after submitting it.
(3) International students who register successfully are regarded as registered students of HHU.
(4) International students who fail to register or have overdue registration shall be dealt with as per the relevant provisions in the Regulations on Education Registration Management of International Students of Hohai University.
(5) International students who cannot graduate as scheduled in July 2022 due to certain reasons should also submit the “Study Period Extension Application” on the online platform. See the User Manuals of “Study Period Extension” in the link below

三、教学安排
2022年春季学期教学活动将于2月21日（教学周历第一周开始）。具体教学安排另行通知，请所有学生做好准备，关注后续通知。
Teaching activities for the spring semester of 2022 will start on Feb. 21 (the first week of the calendar). The specific arrangements will be announced separately later. Please be prepared and pay attention to the follow-up notice.
