Mainly engaged in port, coastal and offshore engineering planning; estuary, coast hydrodynamic environment and comprehensive management; channel scour and silting evolution rule and its prevention measures; port and waterway engineering structure and its foundation; research on port, coastal engineering economic and technical development etc..
