The discipline of physical oceanography is the key subject construction of Hohai University, Hohai University is one of the characteristics of subjects, also of the Hohai University marine characteristics only professional science. The main direction of research in physical oceanography for offshore ocean wave andapplication, the disastrous marine and estuarine, nearshore circulation processand the environment, other research direction and Engineering Physicsoceanography, marine monitoring principle and technology.
