Review of scholarship is an effective measure to evaluate the overall performance of the scholarship students, please complete the review procedure timely and prudently.
1. Review Scope
l Students who intend to continue to receive Hohai Scholarship after September 2024 need to participate in the evaluation.
l Students of 2023 intake does not need to join scholarship review.
l You can check name list of review participants which will be published by email.
2. Annual Review Content
According to the students' moral conduct, academic performance, learning/scientific research attitude, and activity performance, each student will be assessed quantitatively and qualitatively. The specific aspects are as follows:
1) Moral Conduct
l Compliance with Chinese laws and regulations, Hohai University discipline and regulations;
l Rewards and punishments;
l Volunteer experience.
2) Academic Performance
l Examinations;
l Assessment results;
l Basic performance.
l Learning attitude;
l Attendance;
l Fulfillment of leave procedures.
3) Activity performance
Attitude, frequency and contribution of participation in activities

(1) Students log on to the annual review platform of school's online service hall (http: //myhall.hhu.edu.cn), check and fill in basic information.
(2) Report your situation since admission:
l Observe rules and regulations (50-100 words)
l Academic performance (100-200 words, do not list course name, describe your study experience)
l Participation in activities (50-100 words)
(3) Provide supporting material:
l Transcripts
l Certificates that prove participation in university activities（one PDF file only, less than 3M）
Make sure the materials are authentic, otherwise you might fail the review.
(4) Inform your supervisor
Graduate students are requested to notify their supervisors for review in Hohai University System after completing this step.

4. Deadline
(1) Before May 16, 2024, students submit application;
(2) Before May 23, 2024, undergraduate teaching secretaries, postgraduate supervisors, and relevant postgraduate secretaries will review the application;
(3) Before May 31, 2024, International School will organize experts’ meeting to review documents and give opinion.
5. Review Result:
Review result is to decide whether or not the students will continue to enjoy the scholarship, proposing three levels: “excellent”, “qualified” or “unqualified”. Based on these levels, international school will decide whether to upgrade, continue, suspend, or cancel the qualification of Hohai Scholarship.
(1) If students have any of the following conditions, the scholarship will be suspended:
l Due to the unqualified examination results, repeat grade or downgrade;
l Violated Chinese Laws and Hohai University discipline and regulations;
Those who have been suspended scholarship can no longer receive their scholarship from the beginning of the next academic year.
However, students can apply to continue their studies as self-financed students. Before the application period expires, students can apply to participate annual review. If the review is qualified, students can resume scholarships from the next academic year.
2) If students have any of the following conditions, their scholarship will be cancelled:
l Being ordered to drop out or dismissed from school;
l Did not participate in the annual review without justification.
Those whose Hohai Scholarship get cancelled, their scholarship will be ceased from the start of next academic year and their qualifications to enjoy Hohai Scholarship shall not resume.
