Review of scholarship is an effective measure to evaluate the overall performance of the scholarship students, please complete the review procedure timely and prudently.
A. Review Scope
1. Students who continue to receive Hohai Scholarship after September 2023 need to participate in the review.
2. Students of 2022 intake does not need to join scholarship review.
3. You can check name list of review participants which will be published by email.
B. Annual Review Content
According to the students' moral conduct, academic performance, learning/scientific research attitude, and activity performance, each student will be assessed quantitatively and qualitatively. The specific aspects are as follows:
1. Moral Conduct
a) Compliance with Chinese laws and regulations, Hohai University discipline and regulations;
b) Rewards and punishments;
c) Volunteer experience.
2. Academic Performance
a) Examinations;
b) Assessment results;
c) Basic performance.
3. Academic/Research Attitude
a) Learning attitude;
b) Attendance on Forum, meeting, lecture;
c) Fulfillment of leave procedures.
4. Activity performance
Attitude, frequency and contribution of participation in activities.
C. Annual Review Process
Students log on to the annual review platform of school's online service hall(http: //myhall.hhu.edu.cn), check and fill in basic information. Login and password is the same with semester registration.

2. Report their situation since admission year.
a) Following rules and regulations (50-100 words)
b) Academic performance (100-200 words, do not list course name, describe study experience)
c) Participation in cultural and volunteer activities (50-100 words)
3. Provide supporting material.
a) Transcripts (Download from system and upload directly)
b) Certificates that prove participation in university activities（one PDF file only, less than 3M）
c) Make sure the materials are authentic, otherwise you might fail the review.
4. Inform supervisor
Graduate students are required to notify their supervisors for review in Hohai University System after completing this step.

D. Deadline
1. Before March 13, 2023, students submit application;
2. Before April 10, 2023, undergraduate teaching secretaries, postgraduate supervisors, and relevant postgraduate secretaries will review the application;
3. Before May 19, 2023, International School will organize experts’ meeting to review documents and give opinion.
4. Before the end of June 2023, International School will publish the scholarship review result.
E. Review Result
Review result is to decide whether or not the students will continue to enjoy the scholarship, proposing three levels: “excellent”, “qualified” or “unqualified”. Based on these levels, international school will decide whether to continue, or cancel the eligibility of Hohai Scholarship.
If students have any of the following conditions, their scholarship will be cancelled:
1. Violated Chinese Laws and Hohai University discipline and regulations;
2. Being ordered to drop out or dismissed from school;
3. Did not participate in the annual review without justification;
4. Did not return to campus before August 31th 2023.
Those whose Hohai Scholarship get cancelled, their scholarship will be ceased from the start of next academic year. They can apply to continue their studies as self-financed students.
