Course Exemption for International Graduate Students of Hohai University
Types of Course and Requirements for Course Exemption
1. Chinese Language
The Master students can apply for exemption for “Chinese Language I”(2015LXS01) if they have passed the HSK4.
The Master students can apply for exemption for “Chinese Language I”(2015LXS01) and “Chinese Language II”(2015LXS02) if they have passed the HSK5.
The PhD students can apply for exemption for “Chinese Language I”(2015LXS01) if they have past the HSK5.
2. China Introduction
The Master and PhD students can apply for exemption for “China Introduction”(2015LXS03) if they have passed the HSK5 AND studied course like “China Introduction” or ‘Chinese Culture’ with the mark above 80 points (80%) in Chinese University.
3. Other Courses
The PhD students can apply for the course exemption if they have studied the course during the master period in Hohai University and with the mark above 80 points (80%).
Procedures of Application for Course Exemption
All the students eligible for the exemption conditions should submit your application in “Hohai University Management Information Systems of Graduate School” and fill in “Application Form for International Graduate Course Exemption” in the attachment, then submit the filled form and the photocopy of relevant certificates (Originals shall be presented) to International School. International School will publish the list of names whose application is approved, and the course will be shown “Exemption” in the “Hohai University Management Information Systems in Graduate School”.
Others
1. “Pass the HSK” refers that the total score is above 60% and the individual is not less than 60%;
2. The application of exemption will NOT accept if the students who are not qualified to the course exemption before enrollment and have taken the course already.

河海大学来华留学研究生
申请课程免修的管理规定（试行）
为规范和强化来华留学研究生（以下简称“留学生”）的培养管理，提高留学生的培养质量，特制定河海大学来华留学研究生申请课程免修的管理规定（试行）。
一、申请免修的课程类别和基本要求
1、汉语
硕士研究生通过汉语水平考试四级（HSK4）者可申请免修《汉语I》（2015LXS01），通过汉语水平考试五级（HSK5）者可申请免修《汉语I》（2015LXS01）和《汉语II》（2015LXS02）。
博士研究生通过汉语水平考试五级（HSK5）者可申请免修《汉语I》（2015LXS01）。
2、中国概况
留学生通过汉语水平考试五级（HSK5）者且在中国境内高校修读过“中国概况”、“中国文化”类课程且成绩不低于80%（80分）者可申请免修《中国概况》（2015LXS03）。
3、其他课程
博士研究生在我校攻读硕士期间已修读过培养方案中的相应课程且成绩不低于80%（80分）者，可申请免修该课程。
二、申请免修程序
凡符合申请免修条件的留学生需在“河海大学研究生管理信息系统”中提交免修申请，并填写《留学研究生免修申请表》并提供相关证明原件和复印件，提交国际教育学院进行资格审核。通过审核者，将在“河海大学研究生管理信息系统”中予以确认，并公示名单，该门课程方可免修。
三、其他
1、通过汉语水平考试指总分超过60%且单项不低于60%。
2、留学生在入学时未达到汉语免修条件，参加上课并取得成绩的，不论成绩是否通过，不再接受办理免修。
3、本规定从2016级留学生开始实施，在校留学生参照执行，由国际教育学院负责解释。
